The second official meeting of Kappa Omicron chapter, from 1953, was called to order at 735 by President Charles Lincoln. President Lincoln introduced Dave Houston who discussed the possibility of an Ugly Man Contest on campus. The idea was endorsed by several members but no definite action was taken.
Martin Jablonka then took the floor to suggest a social event for Armistice Day. It was decided to hold cookout on Mount Toby and that members could come either Tuesday night and bunk out or Wednesday noon after the Armistice Day parade. No members oppose the idea so it was assumed that all would attend. David Rogers and Jim Wixon volunteered to help Martin in arranging the details. President Lincoln announced the bill of $2.75 for refreshments at the previous meeting.
John McCann reported that the Maroons Keys needed two members at 2 p.m. on October 16 to help make torches for the rally that evening.
Ways and Means of improving rally bonfires were discussed.
Jim McCann announced the pledge meeting right after the regular meeting.
The regular meeting was closed at 8:15 p.m.
